need a vexpro 20 toth gear for championships
 

We recently qualified for the championship but in the process we turned one of our 20 tooth gears in our vexpro ball shifter into a 16 tooth gear. Thanks to team 701 (you guys are the best) we were able to get the robot going again. However, now that we are on our way to the championship we need a spare or two. They have been out of stock at Vex for weeks and their date for having them in stock is in May. We would love to buy one (or two) from any team willing to let them go. The gear is a 20t Gear with 1/2" Hex Bore (part number 217-2702) and is used in the WCD third stage drive. Thanks for any help!

This thread talked about possible solutions. As a preventative measure and as a solution you could purchase some 20 tooth steel gears from Andymark and have them hex broached. The steel ones would also be less likely to break again

Any chance you or anyone else attending champs have 24 tooth 1/2" hex broach gears? They can be steel or aluminum. After this incident, we need some spares. We should be able to pay retail on them. PM me if you have any.

I have 2 Vex dual CIM ball shifters.
They have 2 lightly used 24 tooth 3rd stage gears.
Contact me in private if you want these 2 original Vex 24 tooth aluminum gears.
We will work something out, but please try contact me tomorrow before lunch because other gears are going out overnight as well.

I do not have any 24 tooth steel gears suitable to broach for you. Probably going to be tough to get them to me by Tuesday afternoon as well.
