Fixed.

With a team so nice, you just gotta pick em twice.

I don't have time for a bracket but my money this weekend is on 195 making it the finals. They have dominated New England events since 2011 with a few exceptions like their first events in 2014 and 2015.

I believe 195 is deffiently the team to beat but I also believe that it's a game where you can't win with one robot so with the compitition level of New England this years someone paying attention could sneak up and win

Yeah that what we thought last year! We would love to play again with Mayhem.

By the way - people discussing CT teams keep leaving 230 out - they are right there after 195 and 558 imo.

Totally agree. Never discount 230. They always have a great robot, make smart decisions on the field and are just nice to work with.

Both of these brackets would result in some of the most competitive elimination rounds New England has ever seen (although I can't imagine 2067 being left for the 24th pick in the second bracket). The hype for Saturday is real.

Hmm...
2015 Rhode Island: Semifinals as a 1st pick
2016 Rhode Island: Semifinals as a 1st pick

2015 Hartford: Seed #2, won EI
2016 Hartford: Seed #2, won EI

2015 NECMP: Last robot picked
2016 NECMP: ????

Based off today's practice, I'm feeling good about this event, but we'll see how it goes.
That being said, I wouldn't protest being paired up with 195/1519 again :P

Very psyched for the beginning of the competition today, after lunch, of course.

Many teams are "upping their game".

Scalers (scalars?) are being added as a new feature.
The endgame should be exciting.
195 is going for the 2-boulder autonomous prize.

Should be a penultimate conclusion on Saturday.

Good Luck to all teams.

558 will probably be the x-factor of this event. That batter shot is pretty slick but this event could easily turn into one that might make that shot a real PITA to get in position for depending on whatever the dominant elimination strategy looks to be. If they can force everyone to adjust to their play style they will take their alliance to finals; otherwise you can see their alliance risk an early exit.

Anyone know if the webcast is going to start in time for matches starting at 1?

It is. Glad to see the pair of Angry Eric and Peter Moore back at it!

Seconded.

Also the stream quality is really great. I'd even say it rivals that of PNW.

Thanks Sandra... we feel exactly the same about 195.
