If there are any rookie teams in the Los Angeles area, please contact me. I just got UCLA interested in mentoring a team and we're trying to decide whether to mentor my old team (691) or a new one. My high school is 1/2 hour away so it would probably be more conveniant and useful for UCLA to sponsor a closer and newer team.
