IN my opinion, a top-notch team.

Wow, Thanks. We look forward to playing with Team Paragon again and their huge wheels that bounded through the defenses with ease and their amazing team spirit, welcoming everyone to the event each morning.

Additionally, I look forward to the sallyless port always in spot 3.

I have a question on the playoff rule revisions. For quartefinals, will alliances be seeded in the order of their alliance selection seed, or their highest eighth-final score?

Historically it's been based on initial seed.

We are still on the Waitlist, and probably cannot make it as we have an appearance in our Town Festival that weekend:
Shad Derby

Thank you for acknowledging our unique design and Team Spirit. We are also aces on Imagery. (The "A" in STEAM)
Team Paragon does not necessarily build the best Robots, but we have a great team.

I will be there Game Announcing at one of the best venues in the FIRST world.
I look forward to experiencing 33.14% more horsepower.

We won't disagree with that. We LOVE NE and can't wait to compete with you every single year.

I'm a bit confused as far as the Sally port goes... From the rules change:

Quote:

The Sally Port will be modified to have no door and the side panels will be removed.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but does this just mean a platform in position 3?

They will be seeded based on their highest score from the eighth finals.

It is the base plate of the Sally Port inserted into the defense platform.

This being our first BattleCry, I am wondering how teams typically deal with their pits at this event. Do most teams bring their whole rig, or is it more typical to come "bare bones" with just the robot and tools?

I think more people bring their whole setup but we're going barebones.

Yes, but if you take a sally port apart, you would see some bolt/whatever things sticking up in the four corners. Otherwise, it's pretty flat.

1058 usually brings robot, cart, tools, and spare parts, but leaves stuff like the bandsaw and banners at home for offseasons.

Generally teams bring all / most of their tools but not so much their awards displays or banners. Some teams still do though.

Somewhat off topic, would anyone happen to know what console will be used for the Dance Dance Revolution game in the R & R Arcade Saturday evening?

I need to know for reasons.

Last year before this event, in preparation for it, I practiced The Police's Roxanne on Rock Band until I could play it on expert while turned around looking at the opposite side of the room. I got a lot of weird looks as I played the song that very same way at that BattleCry, totally worth it though.
