Video of your team's best match
I love watching videos of matches, but there's not enough time in the day to watch them all so here's a thread to highlight what your robot does best.
You know your robot better than anyone, so post the link to the video that you think best demonstrates your robot's abilities. Here's what I would consider 2781 RoboPride's best match: Match 56 at Midwest |
Re: Video of your team's best match
In the First Finals Match of the 10,000 Lakes Regional, we, Team 2052, along with our alliance partners Team 525 and Team 3018, produced 185 points. It was absolutely thrilling to watch live, I must say.
Some observations from this match: 1. 525 didn't attempt high goal autonomous, as they had before, but still damaged a defense in auto. 2052 successfully made their low bar autonomous to high goal shot. 2. 2052's first high goal attempt post-autonomous was defended but the robot went on to score four high goals in the match afterward. 3. 525 made five high goals in the match, almost capsizing with 17 seconds left but went on to score their last high goal before time expired. 4. All the defenses were breached. 5. Our alliance received 10 points off of a Blue Penalty. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
In the last qualification match of the North Carolina District Championship, we, team 2640, along with 1533, and 900 were able to play a great match together!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVFLfsVv_3o This happened to be the highest qualification score of the weekend, and one of the few double scales of the weekend as well. We are on the red alliance This was one of our best matches of the weekend, not including our first quarterfinal match where the #8 alliance (587, 4290, 2640) upset the #1 alliance (3506, 1533, 5679: NC District Champions) 153-135! Enjoy! |
Re: Video of your team's best match
My personal favorite was Q48 @ WPI: http://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2016mawor_qm48
We went in with a lot of confidence because of a match replay due to a missed crossing where we would have won otherwise. Besides that, 4048 and 3623 were great teams to work with. As for our best, F1 @ Boston: http://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2016mabos_f1m1 We were lucky enough to get drafted onto a strong alliance, and we got to show our defensive skills, preventing a tower capture. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
Our best personal match would probably be Q39 at the Central Valley Regional in Week 2. We scored six high goals in total and would've had a chance at the capture if we hadn't died with around 20-30 seconds left. This was the first match where everything came together for us this year. Even though we ranked pretty low, it was matches like these that got us picked by a strong partner in 1323.

One of our best matches was QF1 Match 2 at the North Star Regional.

Re: Video of your team's best match
One of my teams most exciting matches. We had to call in a repair bot when 2502 blew a gear box. Shout out to our alliance 2470 and 2823. We got some great air time. In the last 30 seconds our driver didn't know what to do. Great match against teams 2052, 525 and 3018.

If interested I will post links to those.. Or you can TBA them.. Many thanks to our great alliance partners. 4253 TAS Robotics from Taiwan and 5087 Marsden High from Australia!! So close in them finals..:yikes: Hope to see you at the championships. Looking forward to the next level of Stronghold at the Championships. Aloha! |
Re: Video of your team's best match
2502 makes 6 high goals and a climb this match https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3tNRQ28Dhw
We have done up to 8 high goals, but we don't have videos of those matches. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1t8F6onIFI
Tech valley Qual 22, we're the middle team on the red side. Final score of 124, or it would have been 169 had it been elims. We ended up having to push team 145, who seemed to be struggling with their drive train this match, onto the batter, but it all worked out in the end ;) . EDIT: Thanks to team 4481 the Rembrandts for uploading these match videos, and for being great guys in general. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
Team 1619's best match was the second final of Colorado. We put up 10 high goals, one during autonomous. Our alliance partner, 1011, put 8 boulders in the low goal for a tower strength of -10. We were not defended in this match and so didn't take any outer works shots, so it doesn't completely demonstrate our robot's abilities.
https://youtu.be/_BwD0frTPIY In terms of an overall exciting match to watch, I would point you to our first finals match. After scoring five boulders, we got tipped over. Our alliance partner, 1011, righted us, but caused our scaling mechanism to deploy while doing so. We decided to play it safe and hang out on the batter until endgame, where we completed the scale. Overall, a very exciting match!https://youtu.be/lyw0_XmMduA |

I would say our best match of the official season was our second quarter-final match (QF4 M2) at NE's UNH District Event with 1831 and 501. Set a temporary event high score of 163. Not an incredibly insane match, but definitely a nice smooth match all around for the whole alliance. Thanks and a shout-out to NEFIRST for having most, if not all, of this season's matches posted to their YouTube. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
Our best match was Finals Match 1 at Central VA. Our goal for the event was to put up five in the high goal (since we were at 3-4 our first event) and ended up exceeding our expectations by sinking 7 instead. Thanks 5279 for uploading the video.

Re: Video of your team's best match
I don't have a team, so I'm just going to be the cheer squad for a few random PNW teams :P
3024 is so much fun to watch when they do well I'd call this the best match of the day for all 3 robots on the red alliance, really. fantastic job by everyone The whole red alliance again. 50 pt. auto, high score of the day, lots of great stuff going on skunkworks at the top of their game and 4060 specifically because I am entertained by their vacuum tube climbing mechanism |
Re: Video of your team's best match
This is nothing compared to what everyone else has posted, but it makes me proud of our robot. Here's Match 28 from the Seneca District Event. Even though we goofed in autonomous and lost the match because of it, there was solid teamwork between us and Nemesis and it really showcased the potential of our robot.

Re: Video of your team's best match
This is definitely not 3419's best game, but certainly my favorite:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1t8F6onIFI We had a 20 point autonomous, 5/5 high goal shots, and a bunch of defenses crossed. With about 30 seconds remaining, we had breached and scored enough goals to capture, and the game was well in hand, so we told everyone to get on the batter early to ensure the 4th ranking point. It was a good thing that we did, because one of our alliance members broke down on their way to the batter. When we realized this, we quickly swerved across the field, pushed the broken bot up onto the batter, and then drove back across the field and got onto the batter ourselves for the capture. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZSVsr9Iy98
This match was a practice match from the Iowa Regional. We were paired with 1775 and 2512 and were able to score 191 points without the capture and breach bonuses! We did have 25 points in fouls though. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
4215's best match was Q37 at North Star. We scored 8 low goals by ourselves!

Re: Video of your team's best match
So for team 5431, I would have to say that this is our best match:
Lone Star Regional Finals Match 2 It may not be our highest score, but it shows off our high goal scoring capability and speed. Otherwise this match shows:
We do know that our main problem is in ball collecting. However, we are working on the ball collection system and it will be ready by Championships! |
Re: Video of your team's best match
Match 9 at the Indiana District Championships
461 was able to score 6 high goals. It would have been 7 but one the shots went in the front and out the side. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
http://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2016orphi_f1m2
Not necessarily our best match, but arguably one of the most exciting and insightful matches we've had so far. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
Woodhaven SF 2-2
http://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2016mibro_sf2m2 We were down 1-0 in the semifinal series, and potentially playing our last match of the season. In autonomous, we crossed the rough terrain, gaining 10 points for our alliance. Right as teleop starts we line up and score a high goal, go back across, getting a ball, knocking out the rough terrain, and scoring again in the high goal. After scoring our 4th high goal, we went back across and grabbed a ball, and went to get on the batter with 1 strength left on the tower. We tried spit the ball out into the goal, but it barely didn't make it into the goal, and it rolled back to our robot, and I was yelling at our operator to intake the ball and spit the ball out, where the ball got out at the last second to secure the capture, and setting our season high score of 158 (which would stand for the rest of the event, and by extension, our season). If you take into account our contributions to breach and capture, here is our scoring breakdown: Crossing in auton: 10 points Second crossing in teleop: 5 points 4 high goals: 20 points 1 low goal: 2 points Challenging the tower: 5 points 5/8 of the balls scored for the capture: ~15 points 1/4 of the defenses knocked out for the breach: 5 points Total contribution: 62 points |
Re: Video of your team's best match
http://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2016mabos_qm66
This was definitely our best match from Boston. We went into it expecting a loss and just hoping to get 1RP for breaching, but amazingly we pulled off a capture too but couldn't quite match the high goal and scaling of 1768. 4908 got 6 low goals cycling through all of the defenses multiple times, and as usual showed off our quick cheval crossings. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
https://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2016ilch_qm55
Midwest Q55 is probably one of our stronger matches from Midwest (we're the red batter shooter) we make 6 of 7 high goal shots. Unfortunately, we were having problems with the GRIP camera interface, hence the random turning left during auto. |

OK, here is our best match for teams 176 (my team), 230 & 1519. Oh by the way it is the now current world record of 257! http://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2016necmp_qf4m2

Re: Video of your team's best match
Here are some of 1519's highlight matches...
Most Goals Scored: Q52 at NE CMP... 9 High Goals (1 auto, 8 tele) Scored 80 points: 20 auto points, 8 HG in tele, 3 defenses, and challengeQF1-2 at Pine Tree... 9 High Goals (1 auto, 8 tele) Scored 80 points: 20 auto points, 8 HG in tele, 3 defenses, and challengeWe also scored at least 8 goals in SF1-2 at Pine Tree and Q74 at NE CMP Biggest Contribution: Q36 at Pine Tree... Solo Breach + 7 High Goals Scored 90 points: 20 auto points, 6 HG in tele, 7 defenses, and challengeHardest-Earned 4RP: Q125 at NE CMP... we only contributed 65 points directly, but we helped free 155 who had tortugaed in the moat and pushed 1058 onto the batter from the Neutral Zone (they had bricked late in the match) Scored 65 points: 20 auto points, 4 HG in tele, 4 defenses, and challengeWorld High Score: QF4-2 at NE CMP... 257 points (5 foul points)... actually one of our lesser matches at NE CMP, but 176 had one of their best matches and 230 had their usual tremendous performance. Alliance scored: 50 auto points, 19 HG in tele, 7 defenses, 2 challenges, 1 scale, and capture and breach bonuses |

The only thing they didn't do in this one was climb |
Re: Video of your team's best match
My favorite from Team 74 is Finals 2 from the FIM Traverse City event. It's not necessarily the most exciting match ever, but I really enjoyed it. We worked really well with our alliance partners (3688 and 6128) to not only capture the win at the event, but also set the event's high score.

Re: Video of your team's best match
In my opinion our best matches were:
Qualification match 4 at the Boston District Event. We scored seven low goals and some drive team miscommunication caused the missing of ball eight and not getting the climb. The first matches of the day or the event usually don't go as planned but this is the most balls we have gotten into the goal so we are happy with that. :) Qualification match 64 at the New England District Championship. We scored six high goals and climbed. This match was repeated twice IIRC and we had several similar matches where we scored five high goals and climbed while crossing more various defenses for breaching. I know in one match where we scored five high goals we cycled seven times to the high goal since we missed two shots as we were still learning more about our shooter and keeping our hard stop adjusted properly. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
I am not sure which match but in Quals of MSC one alliance put up 60 Auto points
|
Re: Video of your team's best match
I think this would have to be my choice of 159s best match
Q3 of the Denver Regional https://www.thebluealliance.com/match/2016code_qm3 (Doesn't look very exciting I know. What you can't see is that our camera went out so when we opened the Sally Port we did it without being able to see) |
Re: Video of your team's best match
FLR Quals 60-https://youtu.be/8lUen2X_a_M (we had a small bug in our camera targeting code that caused the bot to turn weird on our last outer works shot)

Re: Video of your team's best match
Orange County Regional Semi-Final 1, match 1.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zDn...ature=youtu.be We get sideways going over the Ramparts in Autonomous after making the high goal shot. But at the start of TeleOp we drove right off. The 2 defensive robots (6220 & 4619) are merciless in bashing the shooters. Some large wheel flew off our partner (3309) at 2 minutes into the match. Catching air over the outer works. All 6 robots get on the batters. Good demo of the importance of a low center of gravity.::rtm:: Final Score: 175 to 120. Alliance #1 vs. Alliance #4. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
Western Canada Semifinals 1-1 https://youtu.be/2HPsKQD-8-k?t=7h40m7s
195 - 112 no fouls on either side We scored 9 high goals including 1 in autonomous, though there was very little defense. Still a really good match to watch just to see the fast cycles. |
Re: Video of your team's best match
Carson Q118- https://youtu.be/FKQ2AHvmJHE
This was our last match of the official season and was by far the most fun. The match started off rough. Our low goal autonomous almost scored, and our two alliance partners didn't move for the rest of the match. It was fun to quickly switch strategy and finish the breach ourselves. (We fully breached the rock wall in the last 12 seconds of the match :) ) |

Archimedes 112 - https://youtu.be/S8l9TXoZY_U
Use http://www.unblockyoutube.co.uk to view video With this match we entered the 20 point auto club and ended up with 162 points. Shout-outs to our alliance partners 207 & 1768 for a great match! |

Re: Video of your team's best match
This was 3824's best match - our last match of qualifications on Carson. We are on the blue alliance, lined up in front of the cheval for auto.
10/10 high goal shooting 20 point auto Cleared the cheval and low bar defenses https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKQ2AHvmJHE As an alliance, we scored 21 boulders, bringing the tower to -11. |
