This weekend was a lot of fun and I really wanted to thank the committee that put this event on. Of the three District Championships we've had in New England this was one of the better ones I have been to. I think I can speak on behalf of a lot of teams who want to say Thank You for giving teams a nice large area to practice with their robots!

1058 had a good time and while it wasn't our best finish of the year I am really proud we got our shooter working on Friday morning and developed our groove of 5-6 high goals.

Thank you to 319 B.O.B. for picking us again we've enjoyed getting to play with your team this year and hope we can do it more! The NH Alliance was cool when 3467 rounded us off you guys did have been steadily improving and your 7-8 high goal matches was what we needed if we wanted a chance against 1519, 230, and 176 who played Stronghold at an entirely new level!

Congratulations to the Chairmans teams of 230, 1519, 2648, & 4761 who will be representing New England this year!

Thank you so much to the volunteers who made all of these events possible. And a special congratulations to the field reset crew at NECMP for actually keeping things on time! (the delays in semi-finals were freakish and you handled them with aplomb). How you had energy to pull off those dance moves between matches is beyond me.

Thank you to the teams who competed. It was an honor to share the field, the pits, and the stands with you. You guys rock!

I saw 230 and 176 when I was at UMass Dartmouth. These are both impressive machines. I especially love 230's very unique intake. I look forward to seeing 1519 at champs.

Congrats to 125, 195, and 2186 - It was a great weekend for the family, and for #2 alliances.

All I can say is I love New England and the District System. Being able to visit more events and see more teams is invaluable. I wasn't able to make it down to Hartford this weekend but the stream quality was amazing and the production quality was top-notch, not to mention the quality, intensity, and skill of the teams! The refs made great, fair calls and I heard no problems about anything at the event. The suspense waiting for the score from SF2M2 was real!

I should have the NECMP videos uploaded to YouTube by the end of the day today. I will post the link once they are ready.

And here's all the other videos! Unfortunately, SF2M2, the most-replayed match of the event, coincided with one of the only stream drops of the entire weekend. We got some footage, but about 45 seconds of video was lost.

What're the odds that with 90 minutes of delays, the stream picked that moment to drop. Sounds like Murphy's Law in action :rolleyes:

I'd like to send a huge thank you to all of the volunteers at this event for your hard work. We couldn't have pulled it off without you.

My round trip travel for this event was over 6000 miles, and you all made it completely worth it!

Yes congrats to the #2 seeded alliance for winning the blue banners, we KNEW that was going to be a battle. Awesome job.

What can I say, 195's double high-shot autonomous was amazing to watch!

This was the most fun I've ever had watching a robotics competition, so many good robots and drivers at this competition.

I can say that all the members of 1729 had a great time at the New England District Champs! Thank you to all the volunteers, NEFIRST staff, regional directors, and everyone else who worked so hard to give us such a memorable weekend!

Congrats to all the teams who were able to attend! I know everyone worked hard to get there.

I learned a ton this past weekend.
