I may have created a Button Monster with my Wife
 

My wife got bit by the FIRST Bug this year. Her gateway drug was Buttons and SWAG. When we volunteered at PCH Columbus, she realized teams hand them out and then realized she had nothing to trade for them! So for PCH Albany I went out and made some of the DYI HobbyLobby ones so she could trade. Well, 4188 got a ticket to worlds, The only request she had: she wanted more buttons to hand out.

So I present the custom "Good Luck From Meesa" button for the 2016 First Chapionship!


We made 100 of these, so if you want one, seek out team 4188 in the stands and ask for Meesa. I'm sure she will have a ton of buttons on by some point :)

Anyone else ever create a custom button for themselves to hand out?

That's pretty cool! Glad to hear your team is returning to worlds this year; you guys make really cool buttons! :) This button will make a good addition to my trench coat filled to the brim with buttons I've collected over the last couple of years! See you guys there!

Edit: The particular buttons I was thinking of was actually from 4118, not 4188, but I'll still make sure to get that button for my coat!

I presume Meesa is your wife.

My advise is for her to bring an apron or jacket to collect buttons upon. It'll clatter a bit (and weigh a ton) but those who have buttoned out swear by the concept.

She is, and it just so happens that I completed an apron for her this weekend with some custom Robot fabric!

So if you see her around the Currie stands with this crazy apron come up and say Hi!
