Unfortunately I missed NE Champs and Twitch streams are blocked at work :(

Luckily archived footage is already up, which I'm stoked about!

Archived footage for Champs, or for NE Champs?

They are being continuously uploaded it seems, which is awesome.

Anyone see Q116? 27's auton goal was not counted for some reason and they ended up losing by 2 points. The refs wouldn't go back and view the video. It's playing a major role in the rankings. I don't think there's video uploaded yet for it, but it was a normal shot. It didn't pop out of the goal or anything like that. Does this sort of thing happen very often?

In other news, I'm assuming 57 sitting at 10 seed is going to end up picking, which is moderately terrifying, since we have all of 5 students there.

I was on the side of the field and saw it go in and not bounce out. It was shot relatively early in auton if I remember correctly so that shouldn't have played a factor. I spoke with the head ref and FTA about it and when I was done with the conversation it felt as though something would be changed.

The field didn't really slow down to figure things out. They just moved on with the next match very quickly. Really disappointing to see something like this happen to such a great team. Knowing you guys, you'll power through and be very successful despite falling in the rankings due to a miss counted auton shot.

It's disappointing to see VOLUNTEER who aren't looking out for the best interest of all teams.

Who is the VOLUNTEER on Carver?

Moderator Edit [Dez]: I am very disappointed by you trying to call out a specific volunteer. This will not be tolerated at all.

Do you have a list? Maybe ask 27 or 1114 for help?

While we were disappointed our shot was missed, the refs and FTA did give us a lot of their time trying to sort things out after the match was over, and followed the correct protocols as far as I understand.

HQ was called, and ruled that the sensor was to be checked. If it was bad, then a replay would take place (a replay which could've turned out any number of ways, especially considering 1836 [I'm pretty sure it was them] had issues for most of the match). The FTA checked the sensor, which appeared to be functioning, and considering the rest of the matches afterward seemed to run without a hitch, it appears we just got supremely unlucky somehow.

At the end of the day, all else equal, it was the difference between us seeding 3rd instead of 4th, and what's done is done. I'm not sure exactly how it affected our partners.

This did get me thinking a little about how some sort of video review could be implemented. Maybe in a highly restricted set of circumstances, like only for scoring actions similar to this? That way we could avoid the hassle of every penalty call being questioned or what-have-you.

My friends team was on that alliance. According to him the officials recognized there was a mistake but they could not change it. It was too bad but I guess stuff does happens. It did end up dropping the "losing" teams several spots in the rankings compared to where they would be with the win.

Favorite moment from Carver:

Sorry about the huge image... uploading from my phone and I have no idea how to decrease the size.

We have a list, I'm just mildly concerned about being a low goal only bot picking 7 or 8. I was more expecting to be a 2nd or 3rd pick, but then our coach had to keep winning matches...

Didn't the exact same thing happen during New England championship semifinals and HQ ruled the match would be replayed?

But is consistency from HQ really that important to you?
