Hopper Scouting Alliance
 

Team 1712 is in the Hopper division. Would anyone else on Hopper be interested in creating a scouting alliance with us?

The way that we have done it in the past is that you would send a couple of people from your team to use our scouting system (we would teach them how) and as a trade off we would give you our data and help you picklist. We can be flexible about exactly how it works, though.

Since we don't have enough members making it to Champs to scout, I was thinking of making a thread about this.

I wrote a scouting app for iOS that will take in data of a team for one match. Things like auto scoring, teleop scoring (high goals made, missed, defenses crossed, low goals made, missed, and end game), are available to be added to a database. I also included defensive statistics.

The app will read the data from my MongoDB database and tally up everyone's scores. It will then rank teams based off of how many points they score in a match on their own. I will also have defensive rankings.

There is also a team lookup feature. Provide the app with a team number and it will pull up all stats for that team. Again, offense/defense statistics is available.

If your team would like to use the app and help us by putting in data for the 6 teams each match, that would be awesome. If you come by my pit, I can load the app onto all of your member's iPhones. Shoot me a PM if you are interested.
