Dates for next FRC season

I am probably WAY too early but does anyone know the exact dates yet for next year's FRC season.

Kick Off?
Bag and Tag
Duluth Regionals
10,000 lakes regionals.

My school is getting together a district calendar and it would be great to put these dates on this calendar for our community to see.

Thanks for your time and support. Thanks for a great FRC season

2017 Kickoff date - Saturday, January 7, 2017 (From the FIRST site)

Bag and Tag day I don't see anything official, but probably 2/21/17

I don't see any regional information, but you may be able to get that from MN FIRST people.

Dates for regional events generally aren't finalized until later in the year. They also are subject to change from previous years due to scheduling conflicts. The Double DECCer events used to be week 2 but are now week 1 for that reason. An announcement will probably be made late summer-early fall.

As one of the MN FIRST people, I can tell you that we do not yet have any dates for events next year!. Please, let us at least get through Champs this week and States next month before we start nailing down specifics for next year!. I think it's probably safe to say that Duluth will happen sometime in weeks 1-7 :yikes:

I think many events saw a one week shift this year due to how the calendar lines up with the FRC season. This year, kickoff was on January 9th - six days later in the year than last year's kickoff on the 3rd. My assumption is that ECs put their events in the week that lined up with the calendar dates from last year.

The DoubleDECCer was also Week 1 last year, before that it was Week 2 afaik. Same with Minneapolis regionals - they were week 5, and changed to 6 last year.

And Palmetto went from Week 1 to Week 0.5 for the same reason. Happens every few years.
