Oooh here we go. Probably some less popular picks for some people to enjoy.

2016 - 1241
2015 - 2826
2014 - 971
2013 - 469
2012 - 341
2011 - 1114
2010 - 469
2009 - 217
2008 - 1114
2007 - 1114

As for favorite of all time, I think I would have to give it to 469 in 2013. Double frisbee loading, nice autonomous, most versatile FCS/cycling robot of 2013 hands down, and a really interesting pickup.

Thank you! Our 2014 bot is one of my personal favorite's as well. It was all about cutting cycle time. I wish it had gone further at CMP but alas...

This thread is proving to me that I need to spend more time looking at other robot designs.

Definitely 330's robot from this year

From my time in FIRST:

2011- 40, 1503
2012- 4334, 58, 67
2013- 3467, 1918, 469, 2169, 195
2014- 900, 1918, 2485, 5254
2015- 148, 4039, 1325, 3476
2016- 558, 3683, 4678, 1241, 3624

My favorite robots are generally the ones that do a lot with a little. The simple, elegant designs and the ones that make you go "Man that's so much simpler than ours, why didn't we do that?"

My favorite robot of all time is probably a toss up between 67 in 2012 and 900 in 2014.
67's 2012 robot almost single-handedly inspired me to really get into FIRST. Before Archimedes 2012 I enjoyed FRC, but after seeing the elegant engineering of that machine, I wanted to be like them.

900 in 2014 was a robot any team could have built, but didn't. It was so smart and simple, but also so against what most teams thought they needed to have that year.
I had some crazy plans if we were an alliance captain in Archimedes about picking up 900 and 1918 for some crazy death cycle shenanigans.

Two robots I'd like to mention:

2016 in 2011 - their wheeled roller claw was incredible; one of the best intakes that year.

987 in 2012 - This robot didn't lose a match until their last match of qualifications at Championships. The only other two matches they lost were in Einstein finals.

I would like to mention that 1625 from 2008 is criminally underrated because of how amazing 1114, 254, and 148 were that year. Just go back and watch 1625 from that year and your jaw will drop.

Being in the same division with them at Champs, that robot had a large impact on me back then also. Them and 71 who was "beastly" in that division too.
