That is the best thing I have seen in a long time, just something about it makes me smile.

Has 179 really not been mentioned yet? That was my favorite. They could basically score their robot they were so high up, and their climb looked amazing.

Thanks for the shout out I am really proud of the climber as it was probably the "simplest" part of our robot, and it worked amazing

Slight Georgia bias, but one of my personal favorites to watch climb was 1746

Cause ya know, there were so many climbs in GA......pretty sure I can count on one hand the teams with a consistent hanger.

I loved 1746's climber, but I'd have to say 610 has the best in the world this year. 2056 isn't too far off 610 either. 118's is still the coolest, but other climbs that I really liked this year were 1418, 1771, 2363, and 5546 (cause I'm pretty sure they had the best bottom sticker in the world).

My personal favorites were 1501, 4103, and 71. They all had such different ways to climb but all did it so well!

(Only a little bit of Indiana bias here) :D

I can really appreciate the teams that planned to climb from day 1 of build season, and chose a consistent, although difficult to package method of climbing, like 2056, 3683, 1983, 1511, 3990, 639, and others. May not have been the coolest or most elegant systems, but they were consistent and it's very difficult to package systems like those alongside systems like a collector and shooter. Believe me, we tried on both 20 and 5254.

I'd have to agree that 2056's compact climber design is really nice, yet their telescoping towers are quite wide-set. This can make lining up on the narrow climbing-bar more difficult for the driver, and we see them utilizing their human player in the spy box for that purpose. This could make their total climb process slightly slower and more finicky, compared to teams with a more narrow-set climber grasp or a more fool-proof line-up design such as 33's over-the-bar grasper.

Ok, I hate to be sort of biased but team 4980 o think had an amazing scaling mechanism and it worked flawlessly every time after we added another air tank, it could've been better but as the student who designed this and was the lead on this part of the robot, I think I did a pretty good job, also it was my first year

610 always makes great bots.

I am surprised that nobody has mentioned 16's climb. I thought it was beautiful how they folded up. 1114 and 148 also had really awesome hangers.
