Teams in Russia?

Can't find Russia on the drop down menus of countries in the team search on firstinspires.org

We are going to have a delegation of STEM professionals from Russia visit our small nonprofit - STEMaction. STEMaction supports FIRST programs as well as other STEM projects in Maryland.

Anyone know of any teams in Russia for any of the FIRST programs?

I don't think there are any. For the FRC, anyway.

I don't recall any teams in FRC being in Russia. Ursa Major would gladly love to help out and give advice to Russians team if they would like to start a team

There was an FTC competition in Sochi in February of this year. See the following. http://www.russianrobotics.ru/about-...evnovaniy-ftc/

To the best of my knowledge the only team in eastern Europe started this year in Poland.

I know Russia has FLL and from a previous poster, it sounds like they have FTC as well. WRO is big there, Russia hosted the world championships a few years ago.
