Is anyone on the stream getting the wrapping and freezing? It's happening a lot on the TVs here.

I would like to personally thank 1730 for their hard work and dedication for hosting this world class off-season with so many amazing teams.

I just got my Saturday photos up on Flickr, so feel free to check them out and use them to promote your teams: https://www.flickr.com/photos/runnea...7675836174225/

Thanks to team 1730 and all the fantastic volunteers for holding such a great event! 5968 had a great time (even though we didn't do as well as we'd wanted), and I certainly hope we'll be able to come back next year!

We had a really great time here! A couple thanks to:
  • 1723, 1730, and 4329B for being great alliance partners. We may have been eliminated in quarters, but we put up some of the best performance we had all year with this alliance.
  • 1730 (again) for organizing the event and making it even better than last year. This was one of the best events we've attended all year and we hope to come back next time.
  • AndyMark and FIRST for letting teams take home field elements to lighten their load. We'll take good care of them.
  • WPILib beta devs for giving us the opportunity to test the 2017 software. It all went smoothly, except for one instance where our auto somehow jammed our drivetrain when a command didn't end right. (bug report coming once we figure out the exact issue)
  • Every other team for tolerating when things didn't go as planned. Specifically the drivetrain match and the one where we smashed our intake.

Wanted to offer our sincere thanks to Cerner, Lee’s Summit High School and Team Driven for hosting another world class offseason event. Great teams, fantastic volunteers and tasty concessions all made for a wonderful weekend. 9 qualification matches for every team!!! On behalf of Team Titanium, FRC 1986, Thank you. A great value and eye opening experience for our new team members.

We’ve been a big fan of The Broncobots (FRC 1987) for years, and thrilled to get another chance to play together. I think the last time we shared an eliminations alliance was the 2012 Ozark Mountain Brawl. That team-up also fared well if I remember correctly. The 20 point autonomous, ability to hit the shot from range, and smooth driving over the defenses all had our scouts hoping you’d be available in the draft. Our combined offensive abilities allowed us to deploy our third pick in defense and still get to the capture bonus. Thank you for being great friends, and continuing to inspire us with your creative ideas, positive energy, and tremendous work ethic.

We loved teaming up with the Lutheran Roboteers, FRC 4329, in last year’s CTTD and thought that their great driving skills would shine in a defensive roll if given the chance. Well in our 2nd Quarterfinal they came through big, almost completely shutting down 3 low goal scorers while we were nursing a failed battery on the offensive end. We would not have seen victory that match without their supreme efforts. A classy group who I personally look forward to seeing every year.

We got to meet Apophis, FRC 5006, before their rookie season at the 2013 Ozark Mountain Brawl, and have been following their rise in FRC ever since. We were impressed then, and still impressed today with the poise they display on and off the field.

The fans in the stands couldn’t ask for a closer set of finals. We went to a 3rd match with penalty points ultimately deciding the winner. Much respect for 3284, 525, and 1094. Incredible machines expertly driven.

Surprised 2001 didn’t get their name called for elims. Capable of 5 low goals and smartly driven. Can’t wait to see what you build next year. You looked good this weekend.

I see that match videos are being uploaded and then disappearing. Are they being moved to a playlist that isn't public yet?

Thanks to Team 1730 for a great job hosting the 2016 Cow Town Throwdown. Thanks also to the many volunteers who helped make the whole event run so smoothly. It was a great experience for all participants. It’s a long drive from Iowa for Team 525 to attend, but it provides an invaluable opportunity for new team members and new drive team members to get some FRC experience before our first 2017 event.

Team 525 would also like to thank Team 3284 for selecting us as partners for the playoffs. You did a great job selecting and captaining the alliance. It was a pleasure working with the whole alliance of 3284, 525, 1094 and 1108 and exciting watching those finals matches as we came close to upsetting the number 1 seeded alliance.

The whole event was outstanding. Great teams, amazing robots, excellent matches, first rate facilities and lots of fun.

The Lutheran Roboteers, Team 4329, thoroughly enjoyed the entire event again this year! This has become a much anticipated high point of our pre-season schedule.

Thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors for making this such a great event and an awesome experience for our students. We especially want to thank Team Titanium, FRC 1986; The Broncobots (FRC 1987); and Apophis, FRC 5006 for welcoming our "A" team to their #1 seeded alliance and making the elims so exciting. We also want to thank 1723, 1730, and 4646 for inviting our "B" team to join their #6 seed alliance.

This was a great pump-up experience for our students, mentors, and the families who traveled with us as we get ready for "Steam Works"!

We look forward to reconnecting with all of our CTTD friends at one or more of the events we plan to attend in 2017: STL Regional, Iowa Regional, STL Champs!

Hey all, I know a few of you saw match videos showing up and disappearing - I was tweaking some things so was keeping them private until I got everything worked out.

Good news though, I just finished getting all of the matches uploaded!

Here's the playlist:

Enjoy!

These are really great, Is it okay that I post some of the 1764 featured ones on twitter? Should I just give credit to your team?
