In search of arm examples

Looking for examples of arms from logomotion that were cable of getting tubes from the floor to the highest peg mainly looking for good pictures of single, double jointed, and four bar arms to help with an off season project. Thanks

I would start here:

https://frcdesigns.com/designs-2011/

It has a lot of very good robot designs from that year. If you want to check out any of them in action, you can look for videos on the blue alliance (I know all the videos from champs that year are posted).

Did somebody say "single jointed arm?"
From 2005 onward, there have only been 2 years that our robot did not feature an arm.

This is our 2011 robot: https://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/36687

And our similar 2007 robot: https://www.chiefdelphi.com/media/photos/27675

Both used a dual chain reduction off of a fisher-price motor.

The design is often imitated (along with the tower structure of our 2005 robot), and it's not uncommon to find look-alikes. (especially in 2011, when an arm made a lot of sense)

Re: In search of arm examples

While LogoMotion was a year before my involvement with FRC, I understand from several trusty sources that the most devastating missing component of many LM arms was a counterweight/counterspring. You should design your arm so that it is essentially as much work to bring it down as up. If you do this, it will be much easier to tune the PID so you can move the arm briskly and without too much overshoot/oscillation, whether seeking the peg or the floor.
