Any Off-Season near Western Maryland - 6/27-7/14?
 

Are there any Off-Season events happening near the Western Maryland area over the next few weeks? FTA that is jonesing to see some robots moving around and will be in the area for a few weeks and looking for something to do. Thanks!

As far as I know the only three offseasons in the Chesapeake area are in September or later. The closest one to western Maryland might be WVROX in August??

Not a lot of teams out in that part of the state.

Although not an event, I'm guessing the GEARS group in Western Maryland would love to show off their spaces and their programs. For FRC this is 1629. They operate most of the year.
Stick around until late Sept. and you can see the Battle O' Baltimore. :-)

I was so hoping that WVROX would be earlier than it is. That event sounds like so much fun. Unfortunately my kids start back at school on 8/3 here in Arizona.

Ah that's too bad! We would love to have you sat WVROX! We could always use more people. Just curiously, what part of Arizona are you from?

I am between Phoenix and Tucson, in Casa Grande. Junction of I-10 and I-8.

We were also out here in the Frostburg, MD area the last time WVROX was done, again missing it by a few days. I just love the idea of the event and hope you guys have a lot of fun. One of these days we'll figure out the trip to coincide.
