BXD: Synthesis Project

Hey guys! We are the BXD interns, and we are working at Autodesk over the summer in the Lake Oswego, Oregon offices. There are thirteen of us who are on the team, and we are all excited to pool our talents to do incredible things!

We just wanted to take a moment to let you know what was going on with Synthesis. For those of you who don't know what Synthesis is, it is a robot simulator that helps teams test out their designs and robot code to build better robots. This is the third year that Synthesis has been worked on; last year, we released Version 3.0.0.0 in December.

Right now, we are tackling Synthesis with the hope to make it better. Right now, there a few things we are working on. Some of us are working on fixing some of the bugs in the simulator. A few people are preparing for making Synthesis open-sourced. The rest of us are working on other features that we are looking to add in soon.

We hope that you guys continue to stay in touch with what we are doing during the summer and throughout the rest of the year. You can follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/BuiltXDesignBXD/, Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/built_by_design_bxd/, or here on Chief Delphi. Also, be sure to check out our website, which is http://bxd.autodesk.com/. Feel free to email us at FRC@autodesk.com or contact us through the pages listed above if you have any questions.

See you guys soon! Don't forget to stay connected with us so you can see what exciting changes are coming to Synthesis!
