Hehe, yep, one more fact..

Some amazing coincidences, if only they were true.

John Wilkes Booth was born on May 10, 1838, while Lee Harver Oswald was born on August 19, 1939.

John Wilkes Booth was captured in a barn, not a warehouse.

John Wilkes Booth was not so much assassinated as killed during his capture.

One last thing. The names of the secretaries are not likely to be accurate. This 'fact' was used because it is hard to disprove.

Correction: Oswalds Birth: October 18, 1939, Booth's B-day is right, I guess the book I pulled these from was wrong on that fact

Also, the barn is correct, BUT I remember that a union soldier set the barn on fire, and booth came towards the door as the barn was set on fire, then Sergeant Boston Corbett fired a shot and Booth was paralyzed. He was carried to the porch of the farmhouse and he died there on the porch. So he really was assinated per say

You're right...August 19 was the date of his father's death.

There are a couple of sources that state that Lincoln never had a secretary named Kennedy, but I didn't think they were reliable enough to quote.

This list has been around for eons, and if you strip out the untrue statements and half-truths, you're left with a number of pretty meaningless coincidences.
