UTC Hartford and the Pits in 2001. The same setup for this year???
 

The last year we went to the Regional at the Meadows in Hartford, the pits were a mess.
There were temporary tents that we were in and the water from the melting snow ran right through some of the pits. What's going to happen this year????

Are they going to try to do the same thing??

Probably but I will see if I can find anything out.

I highly doubt this will be the case. In 2001 UTC @ the meadows had about 51 teams and that caused them to extend the pits to the outside. This year, however, much like 2000, there are only 35 teams. This should eliminate the need for outside tents. The pits will obviously be crowded, but it won't extend to the outside of the meadows.

They also need to organize the traffic system better Our pit was all the way in the back corner and people never did get the clue that there was no way to get anywhere from a dead end there were people coming from behind the curtians where all the crates were stored all day, I even put up some pallets to stop them but they just moved them out of the way and continued to walk through our pit and moving tables just so they got get a shortcut.
