(please dont close this thread brandon if this is considered breaking the rules)
ive never heardof it called that but the best position in jerk/@$$hole/President is the president, then vice preisdent, (depending on number)mayor, gopher, jerk/@$$hole |
Yep, we are talking about the same game it sounds like. I've noticed some games have slightly different rules and names depending on where you play them. We usually call it President, VP, ???, Scum. Shows you how things change depending on areas.

Our team was introduced to Egyptian Ratscrew (card game) this year. I think #71 would be willing to have a tournament. =)

I had learned how to play but now I forgot... Darn and that would have been cool |
I think the card game of Mao (pronounced Mow, rhymes with cow) would be more exciting to play!!
|
ERS tourney?!?!?!? time and place, ill be there...
|
Ah yes, ERS. Along with Euchre, one of my favorite robotics card games...
|
/me obviously needs to learn Euchre
|
It's an interesting game. Most people outside Michigan and surrounding states don't know it. I don't know why, but it's sorta peculiar to this area. It's hard to learn, but easy to play once you get past two or three of the crazy rules.
|
sounds like 3 card, where theres like a billion different rules...

*looks at wall, sees 6 assorted frisbees hanging up*
I'd be game for some ultimate, just indoors there isn't exactly a lot of room for it. Unless some huge indoor gym was found, I'm sure many people would be able to easily throw the disc the length of the playing area. But then again, if you altered the rules and played in raquet-ball style, I'm sure eventually people would figure out how to skim it off the walls... we're all smart peopel here... there's gotta be a way to do it. As for ERS, thats the sure-fire way of limiting your deck's life expectancy to oh, about 5 games or so. Mao is the game where you have to create all sorts of rules for playing cards, right? That game gets pretty fun as long as you have a buncha creative people playing. And on the topic of card games, what about BS or Mafia? I learned all these games from the people at this program I did during the summer - lemme tell you, if you have the right people playing some of these games, they're tons of fun. As for other activities that we can do instead of those silly dance-thingamahoosits, I'm suprised no one mentioned hackey-sac tournaments. I know that for SBPLI, the idea has been tossed around (get it? hackey-sac? tossed around? HAHAHAhahaha.... *gunshot*), but I'm not sure what ever came out of it. |
Mafia is great when you have a relatively large group (7+) Hacky-Sack would be fun too, even though I suck.
