Controlling Talon SR using RobotC?
 

As a side project my team is deciding to create a t-shirt cannon to use at our school's home football games! We have already started construction and the program has been "finished".

The question that I have is regarding the Talon SR motor controller being used with ROBOTC and a VEX Cortex. How do I do it?

Right now I simply have it added as a 3-wire motor and set the speed as I normally would. Should I instead have it set as a digital output and set the SensorValue?

Any help would be appreciated.

That is exactly how it should be set. You could theoretically set it as a 269/393/393 turbo if you wanted to as well, since the 29 motor controller works the same as any other motor controller.
