We are still looking for help us in all areas, but are particularly in need of:

• Referees
• Queuers
• Judges

If you are interested in helping out and supporting our teams, we would certainly appreciate it. You can sign up to volunteer HERE.

We also could use help with event setup on Thursday evening (Nov. 3rd) and Friday (Nov. 4th) all day, and event teardown (immediately after the event on Nov. 5) - if you can volunteer your time for these tasks, please also sign up using the link above.

Do you happen to know what defenses will used for Ramp Riot XVII? I assume the portcullis is unavailable, but I'm curious about whether we'll be using a standard set of defenses for all matches, some sort of rotating set of defenses, or just defense selections without the portcullis.

Honestly? We're still working on it. :)

The defenses are taking quite a beating and are in a pretty sad state. While we had always considered doing stationary defenses during qualification matches, we were considering rotating for elims. Given that this might now be impossible, we are trying to figure out how to best secure them and which ones we may want to leave in permanently.

Portcullis is definitely out for MAR.

We've come to a decision on defenses. After considering the current state of the defenses, we determined that rotation/selection over the course of the day just isn't possible, so defenses will be fixed and in the following positions:

1: Low bar
2: Cheval de Frise
3: Rock wall
4: Moat
5: Rough terrain

I agree.. the suspense is killing me! I did notice that the list of attending teams was updated on the 29th! Really hoping that a spot is available for the last team :O
