Inspections - remainder of competitions
 

All teams at this point have had at least 1 inspection and a sticker placed on their machines. At the next tournament we will.........

1. Weigh your machine
2. Size your machine
3. Remind you of the two pledges a. Student built b. Safety
4. A Visual review of your machine while asking the following questions:

- What have you changed since the last inspection? Please detail.
- Are both batteries insulated at the terminals?
- Do you have a battery strap?
- Is your light working properly / wired to relay output #8?

We are looking for....

Sharp edges

Illegal materials - just because it is sold at Home Depot does not make it a legal material, check the additional materials list please.

Loose wires

Unsafe conditions

Poor connectors

Also we will ask the teams with Pneunatics to demonstrate 60 psi or less.

If you are ready with the above answers and conditions the inspections will go fast and smooth.
