1625's 2016 scouting system release
I released an example of my rank predictor spreadsheet earlier in the off season, and I'm coming back here with more of the story. Also, if you're my contact from team 4241 or 5822, I'm so deeply sorry! I lost your contact info, hopefully you find your way here.
Here are our collections sheets, spreadsheets, and Tableau books from Central Illinois Regional, Midwest Regional, and The off-season competition we co-host, R2oC. YOU NEED EXCEL TO VIEW MY SPREDSHEETS IN FULL! Champs is left out because that system was created in the scant hours between my team getting called in as a backup for champs and actually arriving at champs. It's a mess! To say a little about the evolution of the system, the Rank Predictor and Breach report were the first big developments. For Midwest I expanded the Rank predictor and started with formatting. By R2oC I had learned how to make conditional formating and I used that to tell me when I had entered impossible or improbably data. Here's a few handy tips! Blue highlights usually indicate formulas hidden for data entry Green is my comments Trunc. stands for truncated. I use that to eliminate actions I don't want factored into score. Also, there is too much here to explain everything. Go explore, then come back here if you have questions. Feel free to ask any questions or open up a discussion! I'd love to share my experience with you all. |
