Secondary note, do you know if your team uses labview or java?

If you use Java or C++, I would highly recommend using the amazing resource of WPILib Screensteps at http://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s/4485.

Hi I am the programming captain of team 4592 and as you know we lost our only two programmers on the team. I was appointed programming captain because i am taking a basic java course at school. I'm not the best but i have to make it work. So any advice from anyone is appreciated thanks to all.

Hey, great to see someone starting to learn Java! Great videos for learning more basic concepts of java here and once you get generic java concepts head over to herehere. Enjoy!

Re: programer in training

Use codecademy to learn from the very beginning. Codingbat for medium to advanced, and beyond that I know very little to help to advanced beyond. I am the head programmer for team 6051 and I learned in 2 weeks by asking advice from these great people and learning on those websites.
P.S. if you need some more help just send a message and I'll respond in a days time typically.
Go Rocktaπ or Rocktapi but the symbol is way cooler:)
