It's still relatively early. There will be plenty of teams, particularly rookies, to register between now and build season.

It's about 4.5% better than last season at this time in the registration process.

Miami Valley (MVR) is started to clear the waitlist. We had 7 teams on it.

I am hoping we have quite a few Florida teams on the Orlando Waitlist because we are missing 12 teams and only have 5 rookies resulting in a net loss of 7 teams.

Are you all planning to join the party? That would make Hub City one of the toughest events of the year for sure.

We're not even sure we're in for a third regional this year, but if we were Hub is one of the few options that would allow us to avoid back to back weekends. Certainly a lot of friends there we'd like to see again.

We are past the 2900 mark.

• 16 resurrected vets (longest missing is from Ontario and last played 10 yrs ago)
• 13 new vets
• 235 rookie teams
• 2643 continuing teams
• (487 missing vets or 15.6%)

The week 1 Toluca Regional in Toluca de Lerdo, Mexico is new.

And an event has apparently disappeared from Aren's event listing.
ONT District - Victoria Park Collegiate Event
22 teams are registered for it, so I imagine that it's just a data collection error and the event got pushed off Aren's list by the surprise addition of Toluca.

I wonder if it has something to do with Mexico City regional still not having a date. Maybe it's a Queen City/Miami Valley issue where this is the replacement regional.

Unless I'm missing something, the Mexico City Regional is no longer listed. The Toluca Regional may be a replacement for the Mexico City Regional.

Looks like the Toluca Regional is simply the Mexico City Regional, now with the date and venue nailed down, taking place in Toluca in the vicinity of Mexico City.

Victoria Park simply got moved to the top of the district event listing. Sometimes the order of events on FIRST's page is a little scrambled, and my page only reflects that.

Just jumped across the 3000 team mark.
South Africa has joined us.
Slews of new Michigan rookies have been showing up on event rosters.

I figured I just hadn't looked hard enough.
I later noticed that several other events were also shifted because of the reordering in the immediate aftermath of Mexico City being removed and Toluca being added.
P.S. It hasn't updated past 6am EST this morning.

773 - Kingsville CavalGears, Kingsville, ON last played under that team number in 2007

1374 is a new number and I listed them as a new vet in the system.
I haven't looked yet to see where they (and most of the other new vets) might have come from or associated teams they might have been in the past. Maybe I'll start on that today.

The one team previously registered for Mexico City has now been moved onto the Toluca roster.

At noon the FIRST API was shutdown for open registration.
