Scouting Database
 

Attention OCCRA Teams:

Team 27 would like to start a database that includes basic scouting information for the 2002 OCCRA robots. This database would be available to everybody. We are not asking for you to reveal any secrets about your finals robot, just basic information would suffice. For example:

Team 27 - OTC-NW

2-Wheel rear drive
Cart grabber
Manipulates balls
Scores in low tower and cart


We thank you ahead of time for your contribution to the database and wish all team's the best of luck on the 23rd.

Who knows what else we'll come up with by saturday.

For 3 years I have built scouting datebases which included information on robots from 2 - 3 regionals and a larger dbase from Nationals. My final preparations have gone into possibly patenting these datebases. But I am still happy to help. If for this year, I would be happy to accomodate you and your teams into my scouting unit. Vin211, you are in the wrong forum. This is the Unofficial Compeitions forum for OCCRA. OCCRA is a small robotics competition located in Metro-Detroit Michigan that takes place in the fall. Non of the robots are the same as FIRST. This scouting database will be used for just OCCRA, so thanks for offering, but i don't think you will be of any help.

oh i'm sorry its late and i obviously wasn't paying attention. If i was involved I would happily help. Good luck with your season.

Come on, surely some of the other teams have information to post! Let's see what you have to offer! You don't need to give away any "secret weapons," just basic information like we've given you.

Thanks for commenting on the feds database. We are in bot OCCRA and FIRST. I made the database in Access which, for those who don't know, thats the same program that they use for scoring and all matches in OCCRA, and i'm guessing first too.

But... becuase i'm working of www.feds201.com (our website) i didn't have enought time to make a database for OCCRA. I'm planning to watch all the matches on Sat. and create a list of top pics (which we will be picking :) ) and look into some basic stragity against some other teams.

Also, for first, a thing that made our db so good, was that we took digital pics of EVERY bot at each regional. This way, when we were back at the hotel at night of in the pits, we could pull up another teams bot picture.

Sorry... that's a little off the OCCRA topic, but i hade to say thanks to Team93FIRST for commenting.
