small town or big city?

big city (Houston and the surrounding areas are really fun contrary to some views on this site)
Heard too many interesting stories about smallER town poitics from one of my friends from a team thats based out of one of them. I also have visited there and when you can drive through the whole town in 10 mins and have "seen it all" i know i would get easily bored.
