this is random, but we were discussing this at lunch one day.

if you were driving down the road, and on one side of the road was a person, and on the other side was your favourite animal, and you had to run over one of the two (and it would die) because otherwise, well i dont know, but which would you run over? the person or the animal?

tough one, but i would definatly have to go with animal, you can never replace a person
