I remember the Kylie Mingoe song "can't get you out of my head" (very fitting I know) was stuck many head's of team 691 during regional season and well after last year. Apparently someone heard it before we flew out of LA to Seattle, sang it on the plane and got it stuck in the heads of people around him. Then we would hear it working in the pits, in resturants at night, even standing on the street corner there was a car with its window rolled down playing the song, it was freaky and soooo addictive. That and I will survive, I don't know why the guys on our team always bust out into that song but that would get stuck in heads forever.

I hope this doesn't bore you all...............

P.D.Q. Bach's, Unbegun Symphony.
A study in blatent unapologetic plaigarism.

Also, The soprano aria from his half act opera "The Stoned Guest"
sung by Carmen Ghia, a maiden of ailing repute.......

"Now is the season where logic and reason are looked on as treason and everything's fine.

Willie and Mabel are under the table, they were not quite able to finish their wine!"

Really, I mean it. I often sing it when I have to do mundane things around the house to pass the time (dishes, laundrey etc.) I'm probably warping my kids.

Oh dear, I hope the words at the end of that phrase aren't too racy for this site!

ummm... there are others, but I can't think of them right now.

Elgin Clock 19-12-2002 16:55

Speaking of addictive songs and old favorites, does anyone know if the theme song to the X-Men cartoon that ran in the 90's had a name to it??? I loved that theme song, even though it WAS all instrumental. I would blast my TV when that came on and almost blow my little 2 inch speakers in the TV.
I want to DL it and don't have a clue about it's name- if it even had one!

DanLevin247 20-12-2002 15:37

The Eagles - Hotel California

'Bike' by Pink Floyd

I've got a bike. You can ride it if you like.
It's got a basket, a bell that rings and
Things to make it look good.
I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, ev'rything if you want things.

I've got a cloak. It's a bit of a joke.
There's a tear up the front. It's red and black.
I've had it for months.
If you think it could look good, then I guess it should.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, ev'rything if you want things.

I know a mouse, and he hasn't got a house.
I don't know why. I call him Gerald.
He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, ev'rything if you want things.

I've got a clan of gingerbread men.
Here a man, there a man, lots of gingerbread men.
Take a couple if you wish. They're on the dish.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, ev'rything if you want things.

I know a room of musical tunes.
Some rhyme, some ching. Most of them are clockwork.
Let's go into the other room and make them work.

... it's nuts. Really long, and has a really weird ending. I'd recommend downloading it :)
