VEXpro...New for 2017?

Has anybody heard if VEXpro has any new products for 2017? We are restocking our shop and don't want to purchase anything that may be improved for 2017 ... like ballshifters, wheels, hubs etc.

You could sit on it for a few weeks. Vexpro did their release on December 10th last year, so it should be done with time to spare before competitions.

I'm hoping for the Instant Motivator from Robowranglers Industries.

All we really need is a 3D scan and a 3D printer.

Well... and his consent probably.

Not to derail the thread too much but if the scan was taken in a place where he'd conceivably expect no privacy (say a public street) and you were not selling them and were instead giving them away (i.e. not commercial use) and it didn't paint him in a false light or give away private information you might be clear even without consent.

Blah blah blah, not legal advice blah blah blah, check laws and regulations in your area.

You know what's funny about that video are the pool noodles taped the corners of the wall boxes in the background.

We had a student sit under one about a year ago and then stand up into it resulting in a couple of stitches so I completely understand the desire to put pool noodles at the corners.

I think a bevel gear extension for the planetary gearboxes to allow for 90 degree angles.

If they don't end up making this I call dibs on the patent

I'm hoping for the 775pro with an extended backshaft so they can be used with these encoders.

Can we give this thread a title that doesn't get my hopes up every time I see it?

33 actually has a fairly clean solution for that here;
http://www.instructables.com/id/90-D...netary-Gearbo/

It requires a 1/4" hex broach, but that broach pays for itself if you use this 90* interface a few times.

I may be wrong, but I think I noticed the smoked polycarbonate come out after build season this year. Anyone care to confirm or deny this?

http://www.wcproducts.net/wcp-0024

Other than that, I think we'll just have to wait for WCP to bring us our early Christmas presents.

If they don't come out with an extended shaft, Armabot has you covered with a direct installation encoder for the current 775pro. Were updating our website to be able to accept voucher codes (hint hint) for the 2017 season. More info to come in December!

The Armabot encoders were awesome. We loved them this past season.
