Whats unique about your website?
 

Well, after a few hours of coding wierd features, i wondered what cool or unique things others have on their site that they have created. So what wierd stuff have you done?

On ours i made it so a new user gets a random password and email confimation. They can also upload their own user picture.

www.team639.org does same thing. We wrote it all in php/mySQL... all info/dates/pics/calendar are databased such so that all information can be edited online (no html crap)... Makes things very simple. We also have user levels regarding what members, team captains, teachers, parents, etc can do such as being allowed to mass mail everyone. The design took a loooong time as it's completely original but well worth it.

This year we i wanted to make the website on of the main mode of communication so i made abig backend with php/mysql.
The team leaders can update the site through html forms. so no code editing. There is a News and a calendar system that can be updated through the website itself. There is also a Image system Which i i downloaded which is very nice.

Thats cool what u guys can do to your website to improve user friendly quality and uniqueness to itself. My website even though is some what cheezy takes up 4 tripod.com accounts

1 for the main part of the page
1 for the 2001 season
1 for the 2002 season
and now 1 for the 2003 season

these 4 accounts are linked to 1 huge re-director service provided by cjb.net.

cheezy yes; cool somewhat. but hey when ure person doing work for free with limited knowledge, resources and funding u do what u gotta do to get the job done.

i think the only decent thing on my website is the fact that it has a java clock on it

Well, even thought http://www.feds201.com are phpbb forums (which i still have changed majorly), I right now am working on a huge mod. for them. I can't really say too much about it now, except that it will draw A LOT of people.

I may need some testers for it some time in the next month, and knowing php would be a plus.

Yeah, if anyone wants to test out a "special feature" for www.feds201.com let me or Jack know. We need about 10 people to try this out, and I guarantee it will be a fun time (or at least interesting).

Just in case anyone wanted to know, I was doing the same thing that brandon was doing. SO.... I really won't need help.
