Last Years RPM
I was just curious how had the highest output RPM last year? this is another attempt at a normal thread.
|
The RObot that had the Highest RPM would have to be my 1989 Ford Bronco. it was at almost every competiton and would have competed if it wernt against the law to have a Flashing Blue/Red light on my car
|
It may have also gone a tad bit over the weight limit...but that, of course, could easily have been fixed by drilling holes in it :D
|
Hmm a swiss cheese Bronco NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
|
You could replace "Big Mike" with a smaller Mike... that might reduce the weight...

When i started this i kind of meant to see robot RPM seeing this is a technical board for robots. I really miss talk about robots. i can't wait 1 month and two days. All this talk about where the championship will be and the segway is getting a little tiresome.

RPM of what, exactly? Wheels? Who was fastest? They're not synonymous. Could you clarify yourself some, please? |
Thanks M. ;)
Next time, guys, when you see a post with unclear questions, try to do what M did and suggest to the person that maybe his/her original post wasn't clear enough for others to understand what he/she meant, instead of going off topic. Brett was just trying to start a conversation. What would you feel if someone cut you off in the middle of a thread you started and start talking about something else? |
If that is the case Mr. Ken :P
The Silver Scorpion ran at about 5500 Rpm using 2 chiapua mortors i think the gear ratio was like 33:1 but dont quote me on that i am not sure a bout the other motors we used, but they were 2 window motors for the claws and a seat motor for our "Mini-Me"Hope that helped |
