3200 CAD Release
These are the designs made for a prototype drive team. We don't know what will become of it.

Re: 3200 CAD Release
A drive team made of robots driving another robot. That would be cool!
Seriously though, is there a reason that you went with TB Minis instead of TB Micros? If you're only using one CIM per gearbox I don't see the advantage. Also, let me caution you against using independently powered modules on a 4WD. If you get into a pushing match and get pushed onto your rear wheels, you will only have 2 CIMs worth of power in your drivetrain and you are sure to lose. A belt or chain connecting the modules on the same side will help with pushing matches, as well as in case you have a motor or gearbox failure. <edit>I realized after I posted that I only looked at the render so there may be a chain in the drive rail that's hidden in the render. In that case, ignore my last statement.</edit> |
