Hey everyone. I was just wondering, for all of you seniors out there. Have you applied to college yet? Where do you plan on going. What major are you considering? I am excited to say that I was accepted to the University of Wisconsin Platteville, Waukesha, and Madison. I am planning on going to Madison to pursue my dream of becoming a Genetic Therapist. Yes I know, most of you are going to be Engineers, but oh well. I was just curious about what everyone is planning on doing. Talk to you soon.

I got accepted to all three schools I applied to. Western Michigan University, Grand Valley State University, and Central Michigan University. I chose to go to Western Michigan, to study Mechanical engineering, with a minor in business.

Ive been accepted officially into the Milwaukee School of Engineering

Ive been unofficailly accepted into the University of Evansville (yes they sent me rooming info, and major information, and a nice letter saying that they have basically accepted me, but I will recieve official word on Dec 15)

Don't think i'm gonna go to college, i would like to work at tom's or maybe hardee's.....oh! maybe I can shovel people's driveways and I can live in a snow fort-until the snow melts....hrmm

I want to go to MTU for mechanical engineering, but we'll see how things go. I've still gotta make it through high school.

I have applied and been accepted to Purdue. I will be majoring in Communications: Public Relations Emphasis, and minoring in Human Services.

Yay!! I will have a team next year. Of course, I could go to IU and start a team, but....

Applied to Rose-Hulman, WPI, UVA, GA tech and VA Tech...heard from Rose and Ga Tech already and got in...waiting on WPI...should find out by the 15th... *crosses fingers* and major in mech e of course.... *grin*

Applying to UVA, VT, WPI, Duke, Davidson, Olin, I might apply to MIT and UC Berkeley, but I'm not sure...

I want to go to purdue and major in aerospace engineering and design and minor in web site design and computer graphics. go purdue, oh yes.

any Carnegie-Mellon alums/students? I've visited once and loved it . . . . im just a Junior but it is, as of now, way up #1 choice for me . . . . . . so awesome it is..... yess......

well, anyone in the know have support/shocking revelations?

accepted into william & Mary :-) by the sounds of it no one else here is interested..understandably - they dont have an engineering major.. thinkin bout goin to school in australia tho :-)

Congrats on william and mary (i do know about it since engineering is definately not my thing). and Australia...<sigh> I love that country soooo much, I would be torn if I were you. I definately want to study abroad there or in Paris.

torn isnt even the word for it! I'm from australia anyways, only moved here like 2 yrs ago and ... australia is home to me..but i love william & mary too, plus i have a bf here...totally sucks cause i cant choose ...

I've been accepted at Michigan Tech, Michigan State, and Purdue. I've been deferred from Michigan, and I am waiting to hear from Notre Dame. At this point it looks like I'll be going to Tech. Go Huskies!

I didn't expect to be accepted to many of my schools, and I have been accepted to all four of them so far... and only one more to get back.... I have no idea how to decide.

I've been accepted at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and University of Maine at Orono. I won't hear from the rest until around March - Clarkson, WPI, Lafayette, and Bucknell. I'm going to major in civil engineering.

My dad and Molly Menges's (45 alumni now on 461) dad both graduated there, except it was a few years apart ;) Ive heard its a really good school (and heard some funny college stories) and if I lived on the east coast I would have applied there.

lafayette is awesome! along w/ dj...i would have definatly gone there if it wasn't so far away :)

OK. Wow. Seems like everyone I know is going to UF, yet I'm the first person on here to say that's where I'm going. Applied to UF this summer..got in November 12th (go extra-early admission for national merit!)..going there. Doing chem e. Well, as of right now, doing chem e (Joe Ross's trying to convince me to be an ee..bah!). Looking forward to it. Michelle and Teresa (and Darrin when he gets to be the right age) from my team are going to UF as well. Should be interesting having about 10 former SPAMmers at UF. BTW..before you all make comments..I'm not going to UF for their football team or anything like that..going b/c it's a good engineering school that's in a warm climate and will give me a free ride (or close to it).
