Incredible work this year! This is probably one of the better Ri3D robots from throughout the years. Certainly one of the coolest looking. I can't wait to see how many teams it inspires!

Impressive given the amount of build time you had! Glad to see such a well working RI3D!

This year I didn't watch much of the build in progress because of work stuff, but it's awesome to me how many of the exact ideas I had are the same as how you guys did it. Awesome robot to show teams what is possible this year!

I liked it, my team has found that the rope we have been testing with actually sticks to the hook velcro on our winch drum by itself

Sweet robot- this is definitely one of the best ones I've seen on Ri3D. Loved the blender idea to unjam fuels and to shoot fuels faster. Great work!

Looks great! How many balls were you able to fit in the hopper?

Probably the best Robot in 3 Days bot of all time in my opinion. The simple design coupled with its ability to perform basically all of the major game tasks makes it a very good indicator of some different strategies.

I can't remember if you discuss this in one of your videos, but what was the logic behind foregoing an intake? Would you recommend for teams to do this as well?

We chatted about it briefly but it was mostly about resources. We decided that we wouldn't be able to "do it all." So that was the game function we left out. If you are going to be a prolific shooter this year then you will likely need an intake. Our evaluation of the game put our priorities as:

1. Gears
2. Hanging
3. Shooting

We wanted to do those 3 things well and decided that adding a bulletproof intake may be problematic. With the volume of balls you need to process this year we believe floor pick ups and hoppers will cause a lot of jamming and binding issues. We confirmed this early in our testing and focused on getting the hopper we made to work fairly well.
