Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

Okay, the Ultimate Question must be asked: Are you going to sit down for 3 hours and see it?

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is the second book in the series by J.R.R Tolkien. They are a classic. Anyone that likes fantasy should read them. Anyone that becomes hooked into this particular genre of fantasy should read Dragonlance series by Margaret Weis or Forgotten Realms: Elfshadow by Elaine Cunningham.

Myself? I liked the first one. I liked the books. I'm definately going to see it. In fact, I just reserved my (3) tickets for the 4:15pm showing on Wednesday, December 18th from Movietickets.com.

I'd go to the 11:59 on Tuesday, but I don't think my girlfriend would go with me to that one :(

Last year I went with my brother-in-law to see the first one. It was fun, but opening day was the day before my research paper was due. I still went, but I stayed up all night finishing it :D
Everyone that saw me the next day said I should just go home. I found a corner in Mr Basler's (Physics) room and fell asleep during the lab.

Make no mistake:
I'll see it.

Did you get your tickets? Waiting in line ususally does nothing unless you get your tickets in advance. Most movie theaters these days sells them in advance.

You may have to wait in line to get good seats, though. I plan on getting there as early as possible.

Ryan Dognaux 13-12-2002 22:41

I can't wait till the movie comes out!!! I just finished reading the book and woa... it's awesome. I wonder if they'll do the movie like they did the book, splitting it up so the first part focuses on Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, and the 2nd part focuses on Sam and Frodo... and Gollum.. oops can't give much away for those who haven't read the book.

Long Live Frodo.

dixonij 13-12-2002 22:46

i highly doubt they will split the movie up... they should have things going on in sequential order not like the book...

Ryan Dognaux 14-12-2002 15:33

I agree, but then again, from what I read, it seems that when the story switches over to Sam and Frodo, time actually shifts back. So basically, while Aragorn and Legolas are doing their thing, Frodo and Sam are going to Mordor.. correct? It'd be hard to put in exact sequential order, but I bet they did it.
