Oh man. I can't believe the WireStrippers made it on here.

I'm the one who came up with the name a loooong time ago. We wanted to be the FemBots, but our high school director (principal) said it was too suggestive. I submitted "the Wirestrippers", intending to be tongue-in-cheek, but she naively said "oh, that's great!" and approved it. And so it stuck. *groan*

But yeah. Team 677 from Columbus School for Girls in Ohio. Woo boy. I wouldn't recommend suggestive names to future all-girls' teams... it's given us a lot of problems in the past :(

Okay, I love our team name: The Royal Robotrons and we named our robot Buckbot after our fave teacher. You might want to just personalize everything and name your team or robot after people who have close contact with your team.

Correction - 314 is Big MO, based in Flint MI. MOE (which stands for Miraclez of Engineering) is team 365, Wilmington DE.

I thought RadioActive Pajama Monkeys (RPM) was kind of funny but clever with its acronym. I still like the Thunder Bots though. Simple and rememberable.

again very official. It's not just a team... It's an alliance!
