Pixy LabVIEW and I2C
2 Attachment(s)
Hi Everyone!
Our team bought a pixyCam this year to try out and see if it is easier to use than the kangaroo set up. I was able to get my PixyCam up and running with PixyMon using this guide I found some resources that explained the difference between plugging it into the analog X and analog Y port where you receive a voltage from the port and can program the robot accordingly, but only get either the x or y value. I also learned that by plugging it into the I2C port, you can obtain both the x and y values. I found some examples of pixyCam and labview (pics attached) but I am not quite sure what data I am pulling from the camera and how to use it. I assume the 8 data points I am getting are the different objects I "taught" the pixyCam but I am not sure. If anyone has any example code for the PixyCam with labVIEW or knows of a comprehensive guide that would be fantastic. Thanks in advance! |

This should give you some insight into the data you are getting. Check out the "Serial Protocol" section.
