Quick Newbie Question

Not exactly programming, but as close to the topic as threads go.
How do I move the switches in the binary set up to determine team number on the OI? I've tried tiny screwdrivers and fingernails and everything in betwixt, and found that everything seems to damage it slightly. Suggestions?

I think I heard a long time ago to not use pencils because of the dust, but that ball point pens are ok even though they leave a little ink behind.

push down with a ballpoint pen in the little hole/dot, and it should flip that side down, and the other side up. i forget which way is 1 or 0, but that's easy enough to find out.

Use a good old handy dandy paper clip. Just bend the one end and it works better that anything else i have tried. Although a pen or pencil marks the ones that that you flip, it helps to remember which ones need to be down.

I've used a pin - straight or safety - with great success. Aim for the dimples; the pin digs in and stays while you push down on the switch.

Negligible damage, and how often are you going to do this ?

What I decided to do for OCCRA this year was to get a paperclip, put 247 [old team] in binary on the switches, then take a label maker in make a label of 011110111.
