Yes. They work.

Clicking 'start discussion' will start a new thread. I'm not going to delete any more 'oops, i was just testing it out' threads. It works. Trust me.

There are two types of threads:
a) Start discussion [makes thread, takes you there, you discuss]
2) Continue discussion [takes you to in-progress thread, you discuss]
