Hoppers mechanism

Hi,
Our team found that in the video of the hoppers in the field tour it dosen't show us what happens when if you release the pressure from the hopper.
My question is if you need to press the hoppers one time (1 short push) or press it constantly (so the hatch will remain open) until all the balls come out.

Re: Hoppers mechanism

My understanding is that you just have to do 1 quick push. Its also how the team version works. Essentially there is just a little bar that holds the plate up and when you push on the hopper strike plate the bar flies backwards and disengages from the plate.

You do need some force to knock it down tho...as I can remember, a full robot push will be more than enough to knock it down but more than a tap

It's not terribly much; It's listed in the manual.

Emphasis mine.
