Team 449 robot climbing
This is our (mostly) finished robot climbing. It is almost at full weight, and climbs in about 5 seconds. We are using a single Mini CIM with a 50:1 VersaPlanetary to drive our winch, which uses bolts to grab a loop.

Hi,
Is the shaft going all the way through the drum? Or is it connected to just a fit in piece for the end piece? Are those just bolts drilled through the roller? Very nice design! |
