Happy Birthday Joe, Kurt, skanker, & Angel girl!

How do you birthday people feel about having your birthday on Christmas?
My youngest boy is having his second birthday today. So far, he seems okay with it, but hey, he's only two. He's still oblivious.

Growing up with a brother who was born 6 days before Christmas always made me glad my birthday is in June, so extra birthday wishes from me to all of you holiday babies!

Well, one family down for the day (mine) and just one more to go (his)!

When I was younger, we celebrated my half birthday (June 25). I would get my birthday presents then, and Christmas presents on my birthday.

One year, we even did a "half birthday party" in the park. We cut everything in half: ate half hamburgers, on half plates, etc. My mom didn't cut the cups in half though, but that's only because she isn't an engineer and realized that you could cut them horizontally, rather then vertically. That was probably about 15 years ago, but it seems like every year, one of my friends who was there remembers it and comments on it.
