The maximum points that can be scored by the winning team is 556. The maximum match score would be 656 as stated.

Wonder if people will build a robot like Wildstang's 2001 ramp bot... The partner robot probably can't take the fall, but it can use it to push bins over to their own scoring zone.

Or, how about team 25's 2000 robot? Giant arm that lift bins from one side to another...

Also, wonder if it is possible to stack up bins as good as team 95 pick up balls last year at 2002...

Different playing surface (fake-ice was brought up)

At the mall near where I live, there is a fake ice skating rink that uses HDPE as the surface. Now to get ahold of them and ask if we can "borrow" a sheet or two.
