bins?

Anyone got a bin/container/tub/ whatever you call them in STEP format yet? I'll build one tonight if I don't get any takers.

Soukup 06-01-2003 12:07

what about a bin in 3ds max or 3ds format?

LBK Rules 06-01-2003 12:21

That's what we need. One of our team members is working on the arena, but we do need a bin in 3ds, lwo, obj, or an8.

Autodesk has, once again this year, generously offered to render all the parts in the kit in Autodesk Inventor and make the “Virtual Kit Of Parts” available to all teams for use on Streamline. FIRST was unable to get all the kit of parts components to Autodesk in time for them to be available immediately after the Kickoff. The final group of parts was shipped to Autodesk on 1/2/03. Autodesk estimates that the Virtual Kit of Parts should be complete and available to teams using their Autodesk Streamline accounts by January 13th.

We apologize for the delay and express our sincere thanks to Autodesk for their continuing support of our programs.

An individual requested I provide the bin model for free, and so i have. If you are interested, here it is:

http://to-tsmb.tripod.com/Bin.zip <-- Right click, save as... or else if doesn't work

The model is a 3dsmax 4 file, its 600 polygons, the bin and lid are seperate and the lid is linked to the bin (moving the bin moves the lid with it)

Enjoy
