Multiplier stack scoring change???
 

Taken from the first team update:

Does this mean that inverting a bin so it doesn't nest will no longer get the extra multiplier boost?

Unfortunatley I believe that's exactly what they imply:mad:

Well, looking at the team update, it seems the answer is yes. A stack of n boxes with one turned on its side would NOT give a multiplier of n+1. Do you think it's even physically possible to make a stack give a larger multiplier than the number of boxes in it now?

If you stack the boxes upsidown/rightsideup everyother one you will get slightly higher, and depending on the height of the stack, this can change the HSU reading.

Yup, it does look that way, but notice the SHU has been lowered by an inch! it is now only 14 3/4 inches, while the boxes are 15 3/4 inches high.

But is this realistic? How many boxes like this will you need to stack to get to the next SHU?

Right around 15. An SHU is 14.75", but a box is 15.75". Therefore, to get another SHU, you need another 15", and since having a bin turned upside down adds an inch, this means 15 boxes.

That's only 20' high. No problem, right? Our 5' tall robots can do that...
