new bosch pinion and mounting

Does anyone have an idea about mounting the Bosch motor this year. Are the small pin insets on the sides capable of taking a tap? Notice the face is no longer tapped for mounting? Just looking for other ideas beside clamping the motor's body.

The lowest risk way of mounting the drill motors is clamping around the sleeve. I rly, RLY wouldn't tap any hole in a motor casing, even if it does look like it could take a tap.
btw- are you speaking of the bosch drills or the vendor>?
