Where is Joe Johnson?

I realized I have neither seen, nor heard Joe Johnson on these forums in quite a while.

Is he okay?

Is he still in FIRST?

Still on ChiefDelphi?

I miss hearing those little nuggets of motor/transmission knowlege he's so adept at giving out.

Anyone know?

I was wondering the same thing since his name popped up in some of the motor discussion threads. I checked, and found that the last time he posted was last July. And then today I noticed his name on the list of moderators for the Q&A forum!? So I don't know what to think.

According to Brandon, he's around...

I imagine he's hiding his user name, and busy with his team and his job... You will probably see him in the private forums, that is if you are on tean 47 Chief Delphi ;). One possible explaination is that he is taking a break from posting this year, just like me taking a break from FIRST this year.

To Dr. Joe: You are still remembered ;). Don't think you can stay away forever :P.

This is my year off...

For reasons that are both private and complicated, I am taking this year off.

For all that, I am helping out a bit with the design of Chief Delphi Robot but other than that, I am out of the loop.

I would not even be reading this message except that I had an e-mail telling me folks were asking about me.

I am fine all is well.

Joe J.

Hope your back this comming year. Your insight was valuable and you will be missed. Hope you come back next year and those problems/complications can be resolved.

Well, it's good to hear you're around, Joe. Enjoy your year off, and we hope to see you back next year!
