Kit Materials Usage & Limitations
 

Please help! I think I am reading too much into the K1 Rule in Kit Materials Usage & Limitations!!!

According to K1, you can use
1. Items in the kit
2. ANYTHING from Small Parts
3. Items on the Additional Hardware List

My question is: If something is NOT listed on the Additional Hardware List, but is available through Small Parts, can we use it? If so, is there any limitation on how much we can use or in what manner we can use it? Can we modify the items from Small Parts?

my understanding is that it needs to be EITHER on the additional hardware list or in small parts for you to be able to purchase and use it. (obviously anything in the kit is usable). That means if it is in small parts, but not on the additional hardware list it is usable, and the same is true if it is on the additional hardware list but not in small parts. I don't believe there is a limit to how much you can use with the exception of size and weight limits, although there was a limit last year so i'd double check that.
